THE FOOD NETWORK HEATS UP FOR A THIRD SEASON OF
“THE NEXT IRON CHEF”
Casting Is Underway For This Unique Cooking Competition
The Food Network is gearing up for a third season of the hit competition series, “The Next Iron Chef.” The Alton Brown-hosted program will feature 10 of America’s greatest chefs competing for the prestigious title of “Iron Chef.”
As in past seasons, this is one of the toughest culinary competitions ever devised. In the third season of “The Next Iron Chef,” The Chairman will greet a new group of America’s Premiere Chefs and send them on a culinary adventure where one chef will prove that he/she has what it takes to become a “culinary” god.
Executive Chefs interested in entering the most elite “cooking club” in the world, must be nationally renowned, well rounded, innovative and charismatic. At least 5 years Executive Chef experience required. Competitors must either be US Citizens or green card holders.
Filming is scheduled for early June through early July.
Casting is currently underway. Recommendations are being accepted until April 2nd, 2010.
